This issue is affecting customers with Windows XP based systems. Customers may find that after performing Windows Updates where Internet Explorer 8 has been installed, an error appears on screen after the system has restarted stating the file "iertutil.dll" is missing or corrupt and to re-install the application to fix the problem. The error then causes the Desktop to not load, rendering the computer unusable. The good news, the error is usually repairable without the loss of any data, and can be fixed with a same-day turnaround. When it comes to DLL Files, self-repair is generally not recommended and therefore we suggest to bring the computer into the store, or alternatively use our new "Online Book-in" system to book your computer in for repair. |
